I have been wearing mine for a year now in Ukraine. The shoe has been great all year round. There are the most comfortable shoe I have. I love them.
We've sent out two missionaries, one to Mexico, and one to Argentina. My first son's shoes lasted the whole two years of his walking mission. (Battered, but still usable.) My second son was a little more rough on his. But I mailed him a replacement pair, because these are well made, light weight, great quality shoes, at a wonderful price. Now, my third son is wanting a pair, just for church!
I recently bought 2 pairs of shoes for my son who is heading for Brazil. Mission shoe quickly exchanged them for a better fitting shoe. The responded quickly which builds trust. I will post again in 6 months when I hear from my son how the shoes are holding out.
I have to wear dress shoes for a very active job. Most dress shoes are very uncomfortable for me. I have used MissionShoes for work for years. They are very durable, with minimal signs of wear even after wearing a pair for 6 years, and far more comfortable and easy to walk and work in than many other dress shoe I have tried. MissionShoes are the best, and the only way to go for active-work dress shoes.
My 2 sons went to Peru and to Brazil. The shoes lasted the whole mission. I bought 2 pairs for my son in Brazil and he wore one pair the whole time. His companion's shoes lasted only 2 months, so my son gave him his other pair and they lasted the rest of the mission for his companion. So durable, so light weight and great for wet rainy areas....but dry hot areas too.
I bought from Chile and I am very happy, because the delivery to Miami was more quickly that I thought. I will buy again and most important was the quality of materials. I am very satisfied with the purchase.
We've purchased shoes from MissionShoe for both our sons. The first returned after serving for two years and the shoes were still in great condition even though he'd put many, many miles on them! Our son who is currently serving in Chile LOVES these shoes! They are so comfortable and wear well. We purchased additional in-soles which make the shoes even more amazing! Makes for a happy missionary. Customer service is fantastic also!
I wrote my son asking his opinion of his 3rd Generation Tracting Deluxe. Here's what he said: "Hey, Dad, well my shoes have held up great in these 2 years and I recommend them for Noah. I like them becuase it rains a lot here and the water doesn't enter my shoes." My son is currently finishing up his mission in the San Pedro Sula, Honduran Mission. It is a walking mission. No bikes. No cars. His two pair of shoes have gone the distance without a problem or repair. By the way, I just bought two more pairs for a son who leaves next month for the Omaha Nebraska Mission. We believe in these shoes!
I absolutely love Mission shoes! They are the best product hands down for Missionaries either preparing or currently serving in the field. I actually had the unfortunate problem of breaking my Mission shoes and they were able to assist me quickly and help get me a new replacement pair! I can't ask for better shoes or a better service!
