What shoe products do you recommend besides MissionShoe?

14th Sep 2021

Great question! We recognize that our shoes aren't going to be perfect for everyone, and that's why we've curated a collection of other brands that are time-tested and proven, and not just by us. This recommendation isn't one to be given lightly, and we take it just as seriously as we take customer care for our own products.

As I always say, I'd rather have you happy in a pair of someone else's shoes than unhappy in a pair of mine.

So, here's our top recommendations:

Ecco Lisbon Brogue

Ecco Lisbon Brogue

The Ecco Lisbon Brogue is a solid Ecco shoe that tends to run large. I'm not the biggest fan of Ecco as a company (or the pricetag on their shoes) but it is a solid shoe that won't break down anytime soon. 100% Leather with synthetic sole.

Ecco Holton

Ecco Holton

The Ecco Holton is a similar build to the Lisbon, but the style is different. It's another good bet for a long-lasting pair of shoes that can still hold its own in the style and comfort department.

Dansko Walker

Dansko Walker

The Dansko Walker is probably my favorite shoe on this list, both in price and company, though the sizes available are often limited.

These three are some of the best options you'll find anywhere for durable shoes that can withstand the wear and tear of a mission, and trust me, missionaries on their feet from sunup to sundown won't regret buying shoes that will give them the endurance and comfort they need.

From all of us at MissionShoe, I wish you the very best in your preparation and missionary service!
